onrovia, Liberia- Reports filtering into The Liberian Billboard newsroom says, the driver and conductor of the truck believed to be involved in the accident-death of Hon. Adolph Lawrence are currently on the run.
According to police sources, both the driver and conductor of the truck which witnesses say was transporting Timber, escaped the scene immediately after the accident.
“The Liberia National Police is currently on the hunt for both men. Their whereabouts are unknown, but the police has dedicated resources in that direction,” a source who didn’t have authority to publicly speak on the matter told The Liberian Billboard.
Meanwhile, the Liberia national Police says, it is continuing investigation into the death of Hon. Lawrence.
Police spokesman Moses Carter informed journalists that a female identified as Gwendolyn Wilson who was riding in the front seat with Hon. Lawrence was the second deceased victim of the accident, while Prince Gbatoe, Aaron Cassell and SUP’s Chairman, Carlos Edison Tigban, all occupants of the vehicle’s backseat are in critical condition at the John F. Kennedy Memorial Hospital.
Carter said, the LNP will make public, the full investigative report at the end of the investigation.
